Biotoxic and Mold Illness

Mold illness is a rising epidemic.

Each type of mold can affect multiple organ systems and cause symptoms to come and go, making diagnosis of this illness quite complex. Because mold illness symptoms closely resemble symptoms of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, you could have a high potential of being misdiagnosed.

Mold illness is very rarely a self-healing illness, so it will cause recurring symptoms indefinitely, until it is properly treated. Mold adheres itself to your cells and eventually gets dumped into the liver. Unfortunately, your liver cannot metabolize toxic mold spores, so, people with mold illness usually have liver problems, as well. Some of the mold illnesses can come up normal on blood tests, so it is critically important to receive proper testing, determine if your symptoms are being caused by toxic mold illness.

Part of our initial testing includes a very accurate and non-invasive neurological test, called the visual contrast sensitivity test, which determines deficiency of neurological function, due to mold toxicity. In addition, specific blood tests may be ordered after patient evaluation.

We work with local patients in the greater Pittsburgh area, as well as virtually with patients across the United States and around the world.
