RGCC testing is an advanced blood-based liquid biopsy diagnostic test that was developed by Dr. Ioannis Papasotiriou for the Research Genetic Cancer Centre (RGCC), in Greece. RGCC testing differs from traditional oncology panels that focus on tumor biopsies or imaging alone because RGCC testing analyzes circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and cancer stem cells, which are obtained in a simple blood draw. This advanced technology is able to create a real-time snapshot of cancer activity in your body.
RGCC tests analyze circulating cells at the molecular level and genetic level to identify the unique biological characteristics of your cancer cells. Your RGCC test results guide our team of practitioners in determining which specific targeted therapies are most likely to be effective for your unique cancer diagnosis, for a truly individual and customized healing protocol.
