Fibromyalgia

What is Fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia is characterized by chronic, widespread pain throughout your body. Fibromyalgia pain can be triggered by a variety of sources and often the time of day, stress, lack of sleep, or even weather can cause your symptoms to be worse.

Common Symptoms of Fibromyalgia:

Fibromyalgia causes specific tender points on the back of your neck, chest, and upper back, but can also include the below.

• joint pain
• sleep disturbance
• brain fog
• depression
• digestive disorders
• headaches
• temporomandibular joint pain (TMJ) dysfunction
• chest pain
• dry eyes
• premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
• anxiety
• light sensitivity.

Relief from the pain is often a challenge. Many people resort to taking prescription medication to manage their pain, while others just live with it. Either option reduces your quality and enjoyment of life and can, potentially, lead to unwanted side effects over time.

Our Process for Healing:

Finding the cause of Fibromyalgia requires a multi-faceted approach. Gluten intolerance, food allergies, candida overgrowth, hormone imbalance, vitamin deficiencies, leaky gut, heavy metal toxicity, and genetic issues are all pieces of the puzzle to finding relief.

We can identify the underlying cause of your symptoms through our comprehensive process, starting with your consultation, examination, and advanced diagnostic lab work. After the root cause is determined, we will develop a customized plan to allow your body to heal and recover. Healing strategies may include nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, pharmaceutical-grade supplements, IV therapies, and other techniques uniquely suited to your needs.
